Employer sold business assets to new owner, but was then named in Bureau of Labor & Industries BOLI administrative complaint where employee alleged gender and sexual orientation discrimination by new owner. BOLI dismissed complaint against Employer. Employee then filed civil lawsuit against Employer and new business owners. Employer dismissed from lawsuit after “frivolous lawsuit” letter sent to opposing counsel.
Former Employee filed administrative complaint with Oregon Bureau of Labor & Industries BOLI alleging sexual harassment by Employer owner of the company and wrongful discharge for allegedly complaining sexual harassment. Employer terminated employee for inability to obtain requisite security clearance. BOLI dismissed administrative complaint against Employer.
To avoid possible claim of sexual harassment and retaliation, for Employer wrote Consensual Relationship Agreements for two consenting coworkers engaging in a romantic relationship.
